Samsung India To Launch New Galaxy M Phone With SND460 & Android 11

Being in the Galaxy M series, the upcoming Samsung smartphone will likely be positioned in the budget or mid-range segment.

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch a budget smartphone with Android 11 soon, according to a new leak by Max Weinbach. He reveals that the phone will be a new offering in the Galaxy M series. That means the phone will be positioned in the budget or mid-range segment.

In his tweet, he claims that the new phone, which is set to launch in the Galaxy M series in India, will come with the new Android 11 out of the box. It is said to have a model number of “SM-F127” and draw power from the Snapdragon 460 chipset, launched early this year.

Even though the model number of this phone suggests that it is a Galaxy F smartphones, but if Max’s tweet is accurate, we could see the phone launch in India as a rebranded model in the Galaxy M series. For instance, the Galaxy F41 was announced last month as a slightly changed version of the Galaxy M31 with one less camera. Therefore, this forthcoming Galaxy M smartphone might also be a slightly-modified model of a Galaxy F phone.

Having Android 11 is pretty amazing for a Galaxy M smartphone, given the fact that most of the phones, even flagships, launched recently still come with Android 10. For now, we have no idea when this phone will be released, but we expect to get more information in the upcoming weeks.
