Finally, after many leaks and rumors, Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite with triple cameras & 4,500mAh battery.

After a long list of leaks and rumors, Samsung finally announced the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite. Both smartphones sport a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display with Full-HD+ resolution and a beefy 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging technology. So far, details of the two smartphones are in line with what previous leaks and rumors suggested. However, we don't expect that Samsung introduces the S10 Lite with a new technology called Super Steady OIS for its cameras. Overall, it seems like the Galaxy S10 Lite is a slightly better phone and that is also reflected by the price difference between the two. In addition, both smartphones will likely be showcased at upcoming CES 2020 that will take place next week.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite & Galaxy Note 10 Lite: Price & Availability

The S10 Lite will come in three color variants, Prism Black, Prism Blue, and Prism White. Meanwhile, the Note 10 Lite will be offered in Aura Red, Aura Black, and Aura Glow color options.

Hopefully, Samsung India will announce the Galaxy Note 10 Lite launch date in India soon.

They will be available for sale by the end of the first quarter. As for the price, the S10 Lite will be priced at €649 (around Rs. 52,000) while the Note 10 Lite’s price is €599 (around Rs. 48,000).

The Galaxy S10 Lite price in India is still unknown.

For now, we don’t know the Galaxy S10 Lite launch date and price in India. However, we believe that the Galaxy S10 Lite price in India should not be too far off its international price.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite: Specifications & Features

Of course, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite features an S-Pen with support for Air Command that was already announced with the S-Pen of the Note 10. Its S-Pen also supports Bluetooth Low Energy, which will allow users to control their videos, navigate their presentations, and take a photo by clicking the button on its stylus.

It wouldn’t be in the Galaxy Note series without the S-Pen

The brand hasn’t revealed the exact identity of the chipset used on the Note 10 Lite but did confirm that it’s built on the 10nm process and has an octa-core CPU with four cores at 1.7 GHz and other fours at 2.7GHz. This seems to be the Exynos 9810 SoC with a slightly downclocked CPU. As for RAM and storage, it is available in two variants - 6GB RAM / 128GB storage and 8GB RAM / 128GB storage.

For photography, it boasts a triple camera cluster on the rear, including a 12MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, DPAF, and OIS. The other sensors are a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 12MP telephoto unit with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there is a 32MP selfie camera housed on the small cut-out on the 6.7-inch Full-HD+ screen.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: Specifications

Moving to the Galaxy S10 Lite, it is driven by a more powerful chipset built on the 7nm processor. It is said to feature an octa-core CPU, having its cores running at 1.7GHz, 2.4GHz, and 2.8GHz. Even though the brand also doesn’t reveal the identity of the chipset used on the S10 Lite, it matches the description of the Snapdragon 855 SoC, which is aided by 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Just like the Note 10 Lite, Samsung also equips the S10 Lite with a triple camera lens setup. It includes a 48MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, it rocks a 32MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture housed in the punch-hole.

It is interesting that Samsung packs a new tech called Super Steady OIS for the S10 Lite’s main camera, making the phone the first Samsung smartphone to ever come with the technology. Software-wise, both phones run on Android 10 at launch with OneUI 2 atop.
