The Galaxy S10 series has brought Samsung a massive amount of sales revenue in not only its home market but also global market as well. Its top-end model Galaxy S10 5G reportedly achieved 1 million units sold 80 days after it went on sale.
That means there were around 15,000 Samsung Galaxy S10 5G units sold daily. In comparison, its rival LG managed to sell only around 280,000 units of LG V50 ThinQ 5G since its launch on 10 May. That is undoubtedly a good figure, but it isn’t close to what Samsung has achieved with the Galaxy S10 5G.
Galaxy S10 5G: Price
The handset is available via three mobile carriers in South Korea, including KT, LG Uplus, and SK Telecom. The base variant of the phone is priced at KRW 1.39 million (around Rs. 83,500).
Galaxy S10 5G: Specifications & Features
The device sports a massive 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel with 89.4 percent screen-to-body ratio and a layer of Gorilla Glass 6. It is driven by a Snapdragon 855 SoC (only in the US market) or an Exynos 9820 SoC (other markets). The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Software-wise, it ships with Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top.
In the imaging department, the handset comes with a 12MP primary shooter with variable aperture of f/1.5-2.4, OIS, and Dual Pixel PDAF. The main camera is accompanied by a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with OIS and 2x optical zoom; a 16MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 lens, and a ToF 3D camera. For biometric authentication, it features an ultrasonic fingerprint reader which is embedded under its display. Finally, it is fueled by a beefy 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging solution. You can also charge the phone with 15W wireless charging or charge other phones with the reverse wireless charging feature.
