The next mid-range offering in the Samsung’s Galaxy M series is expected to be the Galaxy M30s. Rumor has it that the brand has already started the pre-production tests at its Noida plant. And now, according to 91mobiles, here are some live photos of the upcoming Galaxy M30s from a reliable source. The live photos give us a good look at the upcoming handset and they are also in line with what previous rumors and leaks suggested. The Galaxy M30s also appears to feature the same polycarbonate rear panel with a glossy finish and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader just like the Galaxy M30.
You can see from the case’s photo that the Galaxy M30 will come with a slightly wider but shorter than that of its sibling M30. Considering the size of the cut-out on the rear panel, we think that the Galaxy M30s might feature dual cameras instead of triple cameras like the M30. The standard M30 sports a 13MP f/1.9 primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The M30s might lose the depth sensor and retain the former two.
At the bottom, you can see an audio jack, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. In addition, the handset is likely to come in at least two color variants, Black and Blue. Moreover, there is a photo showing its SIM tray, which includes two slots for 2 SIM cards and one dedicated slot for a microSD card.
Under the hood, it is said to be driven by an Exynos 9610 octa-core processor which is slightly more powerful than the Exynos 7904 SoC on the Galaxy M30. Moreover, paired with the processor is tipped to be 4GB of RAM. Software-wise, it will likely ship with Android 9 Pie at launch with Samsung’s OneUI on top. The company is expected to announce the phone in India in the next month.
