Samsung Galaxy M30 With Triple Rear Cameras, 5,000mAh Battery Unveiled In India

Samsung just announced the Galaxy M30 in India with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a triple camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Various smartphone makers like Realme, Xiaomi, Asus, and Honor have fiercely competed in the budget phone and mid-range phone segments. To join this race with these Chinese rivals, South Korean phone maker Samsung has changed its development strategy with the launch of the Galaxy M lineup. Accordingly, it introduced two smartphones, the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, which are sold online on Amazon India website. Now, the company has introduced a new addition to its Galaxy M series, the Galaxy M30 with several outstanding features like three rear camera setup, a large 5,000mAh battery, etc.

There will be two variants of the Galaxy M30 including a 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 14,900 and a 6GB RAM/128GB storage option priced at Rs. 17,990. The Galaxy M30 will be available for sales from March 7 this year via Amazon India and Samsung.com. Customers will have two color options, Black and Blue. Regarding offers, users of Reliance Jio can receive double data on Rs198 and Rs299 prepaid recharge plans. It will provide savings of Rs3,110 for users in the next ten recharges.

Samsung Galaxy M30: Features and Specifications

The device sports a FHD+ Super AMOLED screen measuring 6.4 inches with an Infinity-U notch housing the selfie camera. It is great to see a new phone with an AMOLED display instead of the LCD one like many other phones maker do.

Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by a Samsung's Exynos 7904 SoC paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage which is expandable via a microSD slot. In addition, it ships with triple rear cameras that comprises of a 13MP (f/1.9) primary shooter, a 5MP depth lens and another 5MP third sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens.

Powering the phone is a large 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast wireless charging support. Regarding the connectivity, the device is equipped with the USB Type-C. For security, it has facial recognition feature via the selfie camera and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity options comprise Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE. Finally, the phone runs on Samsung's Experience UI which is based on the dated Android 8.1 Oreo.
