Last month, Samsung introduced the new Galaxy M series in the Indian market and launched two phones in the series, including the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. These two Galaxy M phones were up for sale this week, and they have received positive reviews and feedback from the reviewers as well as the customers. Besides the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, another handset in the Galaxy M series had also been mentioned quite a lot in the past few months, and it is Galaxy M30. However, for now, Samsung hasn’t either acknowledged or denied the existence of this phone. Recently, photos of the handset’s schematic layout surfaced online in the courtesy of iGyaan, hinting the specifications of the device.

The recently released Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20
Samsung Galaxy M30: Schematic layout leaked
The leaked schematic layout shows the Galaxy M30’s design to be almost the same as the recently released Galaxy M20. The handset comes with the same teardrop on the top of the display. The photo also shows how and where many hardware parts of the phone are located, including the speaker’s position, USB-C port, the headphone jack, and also the camera setup on both the front and back of the handset. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is also clearly shown on the leaked photos.

Samsung Galaxy M30: Expected specifications & features
As mentioned, the Galaxy M30 features pretty much the same design as the Galaxy M20. It is expected to sport a 6.38-inch AMOLED panel, not the TFT display on the Galaxy M20, with possibly the same resolution with the M20 at 1,080 x 2,220 pixels. In terms of SoC, the Galaxy M30 is tipped to come with the same Samsung’s Exynos 7904 on the Galaxy M20. It will be likely to come in a single option with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a triple slot for housing a microSD card and two SIM cards.
In the camera department, the Galaxy M30 will most likely sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP secondary sensor, and a 5MP third depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The Galaxy M30, similar to the M20, will come with Face Recognition feature and also a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear.
The Galaxy M30’s connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2.4G + 5G. It will be powered by the same 5,000 mAh battery like on the Galaxy M20, and it is most likely to launch before the end of Q1 2019.
