Samsung Galaxy M10s Powered By Exynos 7885 Surfaced On Geekbench

A new Samsung smartphone powered by a Samsung Exynos 7885 SoC has surfaced on the benchmarking platform Geekbench. It is known that the chipset powers multiple mid-range smartphones launched last year, such as Galaxy J7 Duo (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A8 (2018), and Galaxy A8+ (2018). Therefore, the upcoming Samsung phone will probably be an entry-level phone. The Exynos 7885 chipset has six 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 CPU cores, two 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 CPU cores, and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.
The phone’s model number reveals that the mysterious smartphone can arrive as the Galaxy M10s, an upgraded version of the M10. The handset is expected to target the Indian market. And according to the listing on Geekbench benchmark platform, the phone will come with 3GB RAM and run Android Pie at launch. In addition, the device got a score of 1,222 in the single-core test while achieving 3,202 points in the multi-core one.
Currently, Samsung has not announced the release date of its Galaxy M10S. However, it is likely that the smartphone will be unveiled sooner than expected. But, we still need to stay tuned for the official announcement from the company for further information about the handset or more leaks about the phone’s remaining specifications.
To recall, the Galaxy M10 flaunts a 6.2-inch Infinity-V screen with HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset, paired with 2GB/3GB RAM options. In terms of imaging capabilities, the handset comes with a dual rear camera setup including a 13MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and a 5MP ultra-wide angle secondary sensor. On the front, the phone comes with a 5MP sensor for taking selfies and video calling. Additionally, the Galaxy M10 is packed with a 3,400 mAh battery.
