After launching Samsung Galaxy Fold in September last year and Galaxy Z Flip on February 11, Samsung is said to be busy preparing to launch a successor version of the device, possibly dubbed Samsung Galaxy Fold 2.

Although the company has yet to confirm any information regarding the aforementioned foldable smartphone, but according to a new report from Korean media, Galaxy Fold 2 will be codenamed "Champ" and comes with selfie camera technology hidden under the screen of Samsung
If this information is to be believed, Galaxy Fold 2 will be Samsung's first smartphone to feature an in-display camera - a technology it has developed for many years. Besides, it also allows the Korean giant to remove the boring "notch" and "punch-hole" designs on current products, thereby giving users a full-screen experience more perfectly.
Samsung has previously confirmed that it is developing camera technology hidden under the screen. While Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi and OPPO have bragged about their under-display selfie camera technologies, Samsung has yet to disclose any information regarding how it works, as well as hands-on videos.

However, both OPPO and Xiaomi are not ready to launch the first smartphones with an under-display selfie camera. In addition to the aforementioned brands, several other manufacturers, such as Honor and OnePlus, are also said to be working on this technology.
Aside from these details, the device was also mentioned along with its key specs. The successor to the Galaxy Fold could be a device that supports 5G networks and runs on the Snapdragon 865 chipset. It will feature an ultra-thin 8-inch display with the new Ultra-Thin Glass, replacing the plastic protective layer. In addition, Galaxy Fold 2 will also have a 108MP camera and S Pen support.
