Samsung Galaxy A41 is the latest addition to Samsung’s revamped Galaxy A series as it has just silently been announced in Japan. The device arrives the direct successor to the Galaxy A40 that launched in April last year. It comes with a handful of upgrades such as prism-cut design similar to the Galaxy A51, slim & compact form factor, 6.1-inch Super AMOLED panel, 25MP selfie camera, 48MP triple rear camera setup, and IP68 for water and dust resistant.
However, you should take note that this version of the Galaxy A41 might be different from the international model. For example, the Galaxy A20 launched in Japan was actually the rebranded model of the Galaxy A10e with the addition of water-resistance.
Samsung Galaxy A41: Price & Availability
Samsung hasn’t revealed the Samsung Galaxy A41 price in Japan, but we do know that the handset will go on sales in the country from June 2020. For now, the Samsung Galaxy A41 launch in India is still unavailable, but it could be soon since the brand already released the Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 in the country.
There are three color variants of this phone, including Black, White, and Blue.
Samsung Galaxy A41: Specifications & Features
On the front, there is a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Infinity-U notch. It is powered by an unknown octa-core chipset alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage under the hood. As mentioned, it is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, which might be available on the international version. For security, it has an under-display fingerprint reader while it runs on Android 10-based One UI 2.0 to take care of the software side of things. Fueling the entire setup is a 3,500 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology over a USB-C port.
Moving to the camera department, it boasts a triple camera setup, that consists of a 48MP main sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5MP portrait camera with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, it gets a 25MP camera with an f/2.2 lens for taking selfies and video chats.
