Rumor: The Largest iPhone 12 Ever Is 10% Thinner Than iPhone 11 Pro Max.

With a screen size of up to 6.7 inches, the new iPhone 12 will be only 7.4mm thick, much thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max or iPhone XS Max.

According to rumors, Apple will launch four new iPhone 12 models this fall, including iPhone 12 with 5.4-inch display, 12 Plus with 6.1-inch display, 12 Pro with 6.1-inch display, and 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display.But recently, a Japanese blog Mac Otakara has added a few other interesting details around these devices.

Iphone 12 1 — All four new iPhone models will be equipped with OLED screens and Face ID.

According to sources from the supply chain in China, the new 6.7-inch iPhone model will have a thickness of about 7.4mm, which is around 10% thinner than the latest iPhone 11 Pro Max with a thickness of 8.1mm. Even the new iPhone can be even thinner than the iPhone XS Max, which is only 7.7mm thick. Not only is it thinner, the 6.7-inch screen iPhone is just a little longer than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

In addition, the three rear camera lenses on this 6.7-inch iPhone version will have a larger sensor than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The length of the 5.4-inch iPhone screen will be between iPhone SE & iPhone 8, while at least one 6.1-inch iPhone model will have a length between iPhone 11 & iPhone 11 Pro.

The 6.7", 5.4" models and at least one 6.1" model will have different number of microphone holes at the bottom of the phone.

Similar to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the report from Mac Otakara suggests that the launch of new iPhone 12 models will take place in September just like what Apple does every year.
