Rumor has it that the iPhone 12 series will not be bundled with an adapter and EarPods. What do you think about this change from Apple?

According to a previous report of Ming-Chi Kou, the iPhone 12 will not come with Earpods to boost the sales of its Airpods. And recently, analyst Barclays has the same prediction. Besides, the analyst also said that the iPhone 12 models may not be sold without an adapter, leaving only the USB-C Lightning cable in the box.

Although this action from Apple will bring many benefits to the environment, it will cause a lot of inconvenience for customers if there is no USB-C charger included in the box. If users have to buy the charger, they will likely have to spend $19 (around Rs. 1,400) for the basic 5W adapter from Apple, and the 18W power adapter that is included with the iPhone 11 Pro models is retailed at around Rs. 2,200.

Barclays estimates that the production of the upcoming iPhone models is four to six weeks behind schedule than usual. Therefore, analysts believe that Apple will still announce a new series in September, but it is possible that some models will not be available to order until October or November, as is the case with the iPhone X and iPhone XR a few years ago.

Analysts expect the two iPhone 12 Pro models to feature a triple-lens camera system with a LiDAR scanner, just like the iPad Pro. This will bring a lot of new practical experience to users. Barclays also predicted that from now until the end of the year, Apple is very likely to refresh the iPad Pro series, but there is no detail at the moment. Analysts expect the AirPods 3 to launch in early 2021.

However, there are also many predictions that are contrary to the above analysis. Early this week, a picture of a 20W power adapter shared on Twitter, which was said to be included with the iPhone 12.
