The Redmi Note 7 Pro with 64MP sensor is expected to come out on 29 August in China. Ahead of the official launch, the brand’s VP Lu Weibing shared the benchmark score of the Redmi Note 8 Pro on AnTuTu. The handset is said to be powered by the gaming Helio G90T chipset. And with that, it achieved an impressive score of 2,83,333 points, which is even higher than the AnTuTu benchmark score of the Redmi K20. To recall, the K20 is powered by the Snapdragon 730, which earned a score of 2,09,539 points on AnTuTu tests.
That being said, the Helio G90T chipset still falls short of beating the Huawei’s Kirin 810 chipset. It is the latest offering from the Chinese giant and claimed 3,01,149 points on the benchmark test, as per the photo shared by Redmi. Up to now, Huawei only introduced two phones with a Kirin 810 SoC, and they are Honor 9X series and Huawei Nova 5 series.
Redmi Note 8 Pro specifications
The upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro Might be the first phone in the world to come with a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with 64MP resolution. It is said to feature a quad rear camera system that will support 25X zoom, and 8K (6,936 x 9,248 pixels) video recording. For security, it will pack a fingerprint reader at the back for biometric authentication. Other notable features include 18W charging solution support and liquid cooling system for lower heat during gaming.
Aside from that, the Redmi Note 7 Pro’s successor is said to feature a water-drop notch on the top of its display. Meanwhile, the standard Redmi Note 8 will still feature a 48MP main sensor. Both phones should ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 on top.
