Xiaomi has made a big buzz in the smartphone market in India in the past few years. Recently, the company has just released the Redmi Note 7 in China, and it has received a lot of attention because of its affordable price with many desirable functions. This smartphone attracts a lot of attention as it is equipped with a 48-megapixel camera at the back. But what makes Redmi Note 7 appear in headlines is its ability to pass tough tests, including rolling down the stairs, pounding walnuts, etc.
The company's CEO, Lu Weibing appears in the latest video and is seen cutting fruits on this smartphone as a marketing strategy. A kiwi, apple, and banana were chopped on the Redmi Note 7. His blade touched the Gorilla Glass of the smartphone several times, but there were no cracks or damage. The LCD screen of the Redmi Note 7 still functioned well as if nothing has happened.
Features and Specifications of Redmi Note 7
Redmi Note 7 is equipped with a 6.3-inch FHD screen with 2340 x 1080p resolution and a frame rate of 19.5:9. It also has two 2.5D glasses both at the front and the rear.
This smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC processor. This octa-core processor is built with a 14nm process. It also has a Kryo 260 core coupled with the Adreno 512 GPU.
At the top of the screen, there is a notch to contain a selfie camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels. A selfie camera app will be available with AI features such as scene recognition, AI beauty mode, and AI portrait mode. On the rear of Redmi Note 7 includes a GM1 image sensor from Samsung with a resolution of 48 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture. This is a different type of sensor compared with the Sony IMX586 sensor which is in the Honor View20. It also has a 5-megapixel secondary camera with a depth sensor.
Redmi Note 7 uses 4.000mAh battery, which increases its running time. The QuickCharge 4.0 support feature helps users quickly charge their phones in urgent time. Also, this Xiaomi smartphone is equipped with connectivity ports including a Type-C USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster. It also supports all wireless connections such as WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 5.0.
