After a massive amount of leaks and teasers, Realme finally released the Realme X50 5G in China as its first 5G-enabled smartphone. The device will be positioned in the mid-range segment and take on the Redmi K30 5G, which launched last month. The Realme X50 5G comes with a punch-hole display, dual selfie cameras, and a Snapdragon 765G SoC. It also features a 120Hz display, 64MP quad rear cameras, 30W VOOC fast charging tech, and up to 12GB of RAM.
Realme X50 5G: Availability & Price
The price of the Realme X50 5G is CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,800) for the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage model. Its price goes up to CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 27,900) for the 6GB RAM / 256GB storage model and CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,000) for the top-end 12GB RAM / 256GB variant. Chinese users can start pre-ordering the device in the country today, while the first sale will be up on 14 January. Aside from the standard model, the brand also released Realme X50 5G Master Edition with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage and it is priced at CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 32,000).

Realme X50 5G: Features & Specifications
The handset flaunts a 6.57-inch LCD screen with Full-HD+ (2,340 x 1,080p) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.4 percent. As mentioned, it gets processing power from the newly-launched Snapdragon 765G SoC, aided by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Software-wise, it is the first phone from the brand to come pre-installed with Android 10-based Realme UI. Under the hood, it gets a 4,200 mAh battery that supports 30W Super VOOC 4.0 quick charging solution. On the side, there is a fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

For photography, it boasts a quad-camera cluster stacked vertically on the rear panel. It includes a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119-degree field of view, a 2MP macro lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. On the front, its dual selfie camera system consists of a 16MP main sensor and an 8MP wide-angle camera.
Connectivity features include dual-band SA/NSA 5G network, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, USB-C port, a headphone jack, Bluetooth, and NFC.
