Following the launch of the Realme XT, Realme is expected to introduce the Realme X2 in the home market on 24 September. As you may know, on this day, rival Xiaomi will also launch its Mi MIX 4. Previous, several reports revealed about the phone, but new teasers officially released on 19 September actually give a clear look of the upcoming phone. The X2 is expected to be the most premium offering of the brand in the short history. Also, it is the first device that Realme equipped with a 64-megapixel shooter in China, which is likely to take on the likes of the rival Redmi Note 8 Pro. Separately, the brand has recently introduced the Q smartphone series in the country.

Regarding the teaser, Realme confirmed the X2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset under the hood, which is interesting as the company usually takes its India-first approach in the portfolio. The Realme XT 730G version in India is said to arrive in December. Obviously, the customers in China won’t be getting Snapdragon 712 chipset at all as well as directly skip to the X2. The company also revealed that the upcoming phone will have a 32-megapixel front-facing sensor.
Another big upgrade of the X2 should be its 30W VOOC Flash Charge, though this tech hasn’t been teased. Currently, the brand makes use of its VOOC 2.0 in the latest smartphones that reaches the mark of 20W, which will be the icing on the cake. Other features such as Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, Hyperbola 3D Glass design, and a 4,000 mAh battery could be kept in the upcoming phone. Additionally, the phone will come with a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 Bright sensor on the back, coupled with three other sensors. Also, the design of the handset also remains the same. The prices of the X2 in China should give a perspective of the phone’s pricing in India when it arrives before late September.
