Realme X2 Is Now Available In New Variant With 6GB RAM + 128GB storage

Aside from the two original variants, users can now purchase the Realme X2 in a new variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Realme announced its Realme X2 smartphone last month and now the device has made its way to Europe. It was first announced in two models - 6GB of RAM / 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM / 128GB of storage. Now, buyers have another option to choose when purchasing the Realme X2 - 6GB RAM / 128GB of storage. This new variant will be priced at RMB 1,799 (around Rs. 18,000). To recall, the original two variants of the phone were retailed at RMB 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,000), and RMB 1,899 (roughly Rs. 19,100). Aside from that, the brand just confirmed that it would be launching the Realme X2 Pro in India on 20 November.

Realme X2: Specifications

Moving to the hardware specs, the handset sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. There is a water-drop notch on top of the screen for housing a selfie snapper. Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 730G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a microSD card slot that can be used to expand the internal storage up to 256GB. Software-wise, it runs on Android 9 Pie with Oppo’s ColorOS 6 on top.

For photography, the Realme X2 rocks quad rear cameras, including a 64MP main sensor, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, a 2MP dedicated macro lens, and an 8MP camera with an ultra-wide lens. On the front, it has a 32MP shooter for selfies and video chats. For biometric security, the device is packed with an on-screen fingerprint reader. The whole setup is fueled by a large battery with 4,000 mAh capacity under the hood. The battery can be quickly refilled with 30W VOOC quick charging solution via a USB Type-C port.
