Realme 6s With Helio G90T SoC & 90Hz Display Announced

Aside from the Helio G90T chipset & 90Hz display, the Realme 6s is also equipped with a 48MP quad rear camera setup and a beefy 5,000mAh battery.

Recently Realme, OPPO's sub-brand has launched the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition in the European market. Besides the X3 SuperZoom, Realme also introduces a new smartphone called Realme 6s, which is a watered-down version of the Realme 6 that launched in India back in April.

Realme 6s Specs Price — Realme 6s is a direct successor to the Realme 5s launched in India in November 2019.

Realme 6s: Price & Availability

Regarding the price, Realme 6s will hit the stores on 2nd June at a price of 200 EUR, equivalent to around Rs. 16,600 for a single memory version of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

As for the Indian pricing of this phone, Realme should apply the same pricing of the Realme 5s on this model. To recall, the Realme 5s was announced in India at a starting price of Rs. 9,999 while the top-end model was initially retailed at Rs. 10,999.

Realme 6s: Specifications & Features

In terms of design, the Realme 6s does not have too many differences in appearance compared to its Realme 6 sibling. There is still a plastic design on the back along with a plastic frame on the side. It is available in two unique color options, Eclipse Black and Lunar White.

Realme 6s Feature — This phone should be priced at around Rs. 10,000.

On the front, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080p + resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This screen uses the conventional water-drop notch design and has a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone can automatically switch back and forth between 60Hz and 90Hz refresh rate to optimize battery life. Due to the use of the LCD screen, the fingerprint sensor of the device is mounted on the side.

For photography, the Realme 6s is equipped with a cluster of four cameras on the back, placed vertically, including a 48MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome camera. In addition, the device also has a 20MP selfie camera located in the cut-out at the top left corner. There are a handful of camera modes such as Super Nightscape 2.0, Chroma Boost, portrait mode, or super slo-mo video recording at 120fps.

In terms of performance, Realme 6s is equipped with MediaTek Helio G90T chip, aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage (expandable via a microSD card slot). It has a 4,300mAh battery, that supports fast charging 30W Flash Charge, allowing full battery charge in just 55 minutes.
