OPPO Reno Lite Variant With 'Shark Fin' Camera Spotted On TENAA

For the past few weeks, various OPPO Reno variants have spotted on TENNA. For instance, a new variant powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC appeared on the site last week, dubbed the OPPO Reno Lite. However, now there is a new variant of this device. The OPPO handsets listed on this Chinese certification site carried model numbers PCAM10 and PCAT10, which match with the Reno listings spotted previously. This means that the OPPO Reno Lite must have different variants.

According to the report, OPPO Reno Lite could have variants powered by MediaTek chipset. Accordingly, they probably run the MediaTek Helio P70 AI SoC. In addition, the handset will sport a 6.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. The phone’s processor will be clocked at 2.1Ghz. Under the hood, the devices will come with 4GB/6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. Powering it is a battery with a capacity of 3,910mAh. Additionally, they will run Android 9 Pie at launch.

In terms of imaging capability, the OPPO Reno Lite will feature a dual rear camera setup including a 16AMP sensor and a 2Mp sensor. On the front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the variant running Snapdragon 710 is intended to come with a 48MP and 5MP rear cameras. And the one with Snapdragon 855 will even support 10X lossless zoom technology. Currently, the OPPO Reno have had 3 versions with different chipsets and camera setup.

Now the listings on TENAA do not offer any photos of the handsets. Therefore, there is no certain information about the OPPO Reno Lite smartphone. We should have to wait until 10 April to get everything clear. OPPO is holding an event on that day on which the company will introduce its Reno smartphone. According to the previous leak, the upcoming OPPO smartphone could have up to 5 variants. Cases and photos for the high-end phone variant have already appeared only. Accordingly, the handset will have a new kind of pop-up selfie camera and an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
