OPPO Reno Lite Spotted On CCC Certification, Hints Imminent Launch

The third offering from Oppo Reno, the Oppo Reno Lite, has just got ECC certification, revealing two variants along with some key specifications.

Oppo’s new sub-brand Reno has just introduced the first two phone from the brand, dubbed Oppo Reno 10X Zoom and Oppo Reno. Now, it seems like the company is all set to launch another addition to its mobile portfolio and it is expected to be the Reno Lite.

There have been plenty of rumors about this handset ahead of its launch, but the brand surprisingly didn’t launch the phone along with the other two. On the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) database, we have just spotted two models of this upcoming Reno handset with model number PCAT10 and PCAM10. These models were previously spotted on European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) database.

OPPO Reno Lite: Expected Specifications

The two models PCAT10 and PCAM10 of the upcoming Reno phone will be powered by an MTK Helio P70 SoC, built on the 12nm process. The processor has 4 Cortex-A53 CPU clocked @ 2.0GHz, and 4 ARM Cortex-A73 CPU clocked @ 2.1GHz. It also has an integrated 4G LTE modem inside as well as a multi-core Neural processing unit (NPU). While the model with PCAT10 model number will pack 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the variant with model number PCAM10 will come packed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. All three options will have a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

In the imaging department, both of them will sport a dual camera setup at the back and a 16MP selfie camera up front. The dual rear camera system includes a 16MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. It is still unknown whether Oppo will go for a shark-fin pop-up camera like the two new Oppo Reno phones on this upcoming handset or not.

The TENAA listing further reveals that the phone will come with a fingerprint scanner on the rear for biometric authentication. As for software, this Lite model will ship with the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Oppo’s ColorOS on top. Powering the phone is a 3,910mAh cell with 10W fast charging support. Its dimensions are 162 x 76.1 x 8.3mm with a weight of 190g.
