The Oppo Find X2 shares the same ports and screen specs as the OnePlus 8 Pro. However, it sports a high-gloss glass back instead of a matte finish.
You will be hard-pressed to find something not to like about the look of the phone, except for the back that is a real fingerprint magnet.
Oppo Find X2 Price
The phone is retailed in the UK for £799 (around $1,045). Oppo Find X2 price in India is ₹57,990 for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Oppo Find X2 Design
The Oppo Find X2 is a big but elegant phone with a dimension of 164.9x74.5x8mm. The phone is sandwiched between Gorilla Glass 6 in the front and Gorilla Glass 5 in the back. The sides are curved for a comfortable feel when you hold the phone.
On the left, there is the volume rocker while the power button sits on the right. At the bottom, you will find the SIM slot and the USB-C port but there is no headphone jack.

Oppo Find X2 Display
The phone’s 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440x3168 is the best for the price tag. Oppo Find X2 has the same color profile as its Pro variant with HDR10+ and DCI-P3 credentials.

The screen of this handset looks warmer than many other phones on the market with noticeable blue light filtering. The screen’s brightness reaches 800 nits and can be dimmed all the way down for low-light viewing.
The Oppo Find X2 ranks alongside Sony Xperia 1 II and iPhone 11 Pro when it comes to smoothness, courtesy of the 120Hz refresh rate. While you can choose the refresh level in settings, what we recommend is to go for Auto which switches between 120Hz, 90Hz, and 60Hz depending on what you are doing on the phone.
The device is one of the few options available that have a blue-light filter and a monochrome option for a white mode and warm black to protect users’ eyes.
Oppo Find X2 Camera
You will be forgiven to think that Oppo Find X2 and OnePlus 8 Pro have the same 48MP sensor but actually, they don’t. While the latter has Sony’s latest IMX 689 that has a larger pixel size, the former sports the IMX 586, the base sensor on budget phones.

While saying that the phone has the best in class cameras is a bit of a stretch, the phone’s cameras aren’t bad at all, thanks to the laser autofocus, an f/1.7 lens, phase detection, and optical image stabilization.
The primary camera is paired with a 13MP telephoto snapper and a 12MP ultra-wide. They take decent shots in well-lit environments, packing rich colors and a wide dynamic range.
However, the phone isn’t without drawbacks. It has the tendency to overexpose and sometimes fail to focus. Plus, Oppo Find X2 usually struggles in low-lit conditions and with non-human subjects.
When the phone manages to focus, its shots look sharp and rich when taken by the main or the telephoto camera.

Low light photography isn’t the best here but photos taken in these conditions are still usable with noise reduced to a nice level.
Video taken by the Oppo Find X2 caps at 4K 60FPS. Thanks to electronic image stabilization and optical image stabilization, everything is shake-free.
Oppo Find X2 Specs And Performance
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset, meaning it can handle anything, from day-to-day tasks to 3D gaming.

The 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage come into play to put the phone on par with more premium phones when it comes to multitasking and storage.
While the omission of a microSD card slot might sound like a miss, the vanilla X2’s 256GB can handle most needs.
Oppo Find X2 Battery Life
A big screen with a high refresh rate can be the downfall of any handset but it isn’t the case for the Oppo Find X2 and its 4,200mAh battery.
A 90-minute video at Full HD only costs the handset 8% of its power. Under average use, with messaging on WhatsApp, watching videos on YouTube, and listening to Spotify, you may expect to have around 30% of juice left at the end of the day.
What is even more impressive is how fast the phone charges. The 65W charging fills up the battery in just 38 minutes.
However, the phone doesn’t support wireless charging, a compromise the company has to make to keep costs down.
