Oppo Find X2 Lite, as the name suggests, is the most budget-friendly offer of the Find X2 series.
Oppo has a clear intention of pitching the phone as the market’s most affordable handset with 5G support. While some other handsets, like Huawei P40 Lite 5G and Moto G 5G Plus, have beaten it to that niche market, Oppo Find X2 Lite is still worth considering if you desire a 5G without breaking the bank.
Oppo Find X2 Lite Price
The phone is priced at £399 (around $520). Oppo Find X2 Lite price in India is expected to be Rs. 41,690 with the release date is set to be March 26.
Oppo Find X2 Lite Design
The Oppo Find X2 Lite has a dimension of 160.3x74.3x8mm, meaning it’s thinner and shorter than many other 5G handsets. With a weight of 180g, the phone is on the lighter side for a phone.

The handset features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C at the bottom, along with the power button on the right and the volume rocker on the left.
On the rear, there is a camera module at the top-left corner. While the module doesn’t protrude too much, it prevents users from laying the phone flat on a surface.
Despite the low price point, the back of the phone is made from glass, not plastic as some users may expect from a budget-friendly phone.
What we have here is the Oppo Find X2 Lite in Pearl White color with a pink-to-blue gradient on the back.
Oppo Find X2 Lite Display
The Oppo Find X2 Lite features a 6.4-inch screen, smaller than those of other models in the Find X2 series.

The 20:9 aspect ratio means the phone is longer than 18:9 handsets. The resolution of 1080 x 2400 and max brightness are nothing to write home about. The only perk here is the AMOLED display that ensures bold and vibrant colors.
The teardrop notch breaks the phone at the top and since most handsets in the Find X2 series have a pop-up mechanism or a punch-hole design, its notch looks a bit old.
Oppo Find X2 Lite Camera
Pictures taken with the Oppo Find X2 Lite aren’t the best-looking but they are definitely sharable. The phone photography hardware is made up of a 48MP f/1.7 primary camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, a 2MP f/2.4 black-and-white, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

On the other side, there is a 32-megapixel f/2.0 selfie snapper, and thanks to the high resolution, selfie photos pack lots of details and background blur looks natural enough.
Photos taken with the rear snappers look vibrant and have a dynamic range you rarely see in a cheap phone. In good lighting, shots are bright and nice but when in low-light situations, they are a bit dull.
However, it doesn’t mean Oppo Find X2 Lite cameras aren’t without flaws. Images with high contrast lose plenty of details in dark areas. Plus, the phone takes a tad longer to shoot after users press the shutter button.
The presence of a black-and-white and depth sensor puzzled us here as photos taken by the rear cameras don’t pack lots of depth. In other shots, the mono snapper doesn’t seem to change anything.
Since the phone has no zoom lens, users will have to rely on its 10x digital zoom which makes photos lose their quality.
The phone can record videos at 4K/30 FPS or 1080p/60FPS.
Oppo Find X2 Lite Specs And Software
The Oppo Find X2 Lite is powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with RAM of 8GB.
For a low price tag, the phone is pretty powerful and handles games with ease. However, the phone loads apps rather slowly so if you plan to use the handset intensively, this is an issue you should be aware of.

Overheating is a real problem here as well, especially when you play games, charge the device, or use the cameras for an extended period of time.
The Oppo Find X2 Lite runs on ColorOS on top of Android 10. The home screen and menus look very bold and bright here but there aren’t many customization options.
Swiping through the menus feels smooth and snappy, something you don’t expect in a budget phone.
The phone features face unlocking which is quick and accurate.
Oppo Find X2 Lite Battery Life
The Oppo Find X2 Lite can last a day when it’s fully charged but whether you can achieve that depends on how you use the phone.
The 4,025mAh battery can sustain the phone for a whole day under medium use. More intensive use and you will see it losing juice faster.
The phone’s charging speed is 30W and according to Oppo, it takes the phone 20 minutes to charge from 0% to 50%.
It doesn’t support wireless charging, not a surprise given the phones’ affordable price tag.
