OPPO phone maker has recently launched the OPPO A1K, the successor to the OPPO A1 released last year and the latest smartphone in the budget OPPO A lineup. The smartphone has been silently introduced in the Russian market and is said to come to India soon. A highlight of this smartphone is the battery with a large capacity of 4,000mAh with AI support which optimizes the device’s battery performance allowing users to use the phone for a few days without having to charge the phone.

The phone is expected to be available in two color variants including Red and Black colors. Additionally, it will sport a 6.1-inch display with HD+ resolution, a dewdrop notch, and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer. Also, the device will have a screen-to-body ratio of 87.43 percent. Under the hood, it is said to come with MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset in addition to 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, expandable to 256GB via a microSD slot. In addition, it runs Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6 at launch. In terms of imaging department, the phone will feature an 8MP rear sensor with a LED flash and an aperture of f/2.2 and a 5MP front-facing sensor with an aperture of f2.0.

Also, it seems like the phone will not come with any feature for unlocking the phone, neither Face Unlock nor fingerprint scanner. Regarding the pricing, the smartphone will be priced at RUB9,990 (around Rs. 10,900) in the Russian market, which is expensive assuming that there are more pocket-friendly smartphones with better features and specs.
In terms of design, the phone will measure at 154.5 x 73.8 x 8.4mm and weigh 170g. Besides, the device’s connectivity options include micro USB, GPS/Glonass, Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, and dual 4G VoLTE. Also, it will have an audio jack and Dual SIM slot.
