As a tradition, OnePlus usually launches two devices each year. However, things appear to change in 2019 as the company is likely to release three smartphones.
The phones anticipated to come out this year include the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro and a 5G-enabled Pro phone, according to leaked information from leakster Ishan Agarwal. While the standard version may be codenamed GM1901/03/05, the ‘Pro’ model may carry the name GM1911/13/15/17, and the 5G version is likely to be numbered GM1920.
In addition, there is an image recently leaked indicating the OnePlus 7 Pro, unveiling important specs of the upcoming smartphone. The picture also shows the exact model number GM1915 as mentioned above. Besides, the ‘Pro’ variant may come with an OLED display that measures 6.67 inches and the Snapdragon 855 CPU from Qualcomm will power the device. Furthermore, the handset may sport a notchless screen design along with curved edges.
And the following are some features of the upcoming OnePlus phone. Its internal storage would be 256GB while the RAM would be 8GB. The operating system is expected to be Android 9 Pie along with custom Oxygen OS skin. Regarding cameras, it is likely that the device will sport a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 48MP sensor, a 16MP lens, and an 8MP sensor. It’s also possible that the phone will offer two SIM card slots with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE.
Plus, GSMArena reported that there have been leaks of the OnePlus 5G phone’s case renders. The design in the images, in fact, is the same as the look of OnePlus 6T, which came out last year. The only difference we can see here is how the LED flash is placed. While the LED flash on the new model lies in the middle of the camera setup, that of the older design lies below the rear camera setup. In the meantime, it’s unclear when the company will launch the phone to the market.
