Released to the market less than one month ago, the OnePlus 6T has got more updates. If you bought your OnePlus 6T from the US, you must know that the phone offers Verizon network support.
The most recent update that OnePlus brought to us deals with the problem when adding APN on Verizon’s network. However, we don’t know for sure what it actually fix as the one single issue to be known is that some 6T users cannot receive text messages. So this change is not really something under the spotlight.

Now let’s move to more important updates.
Firstly, unlocking experiences, as well as power consumption when the phone is in standby mode have been improved, meaning we should have longer battery life.
In terms of battery life, the 6T already showcased an admirable performance in previous battery tests. In particular, Oneplus 6T joined in the competition with some other flagships like the iPhone XS and XR, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Gogle Pixel 3 XL and LG G7. It ranked third with an impressive battery life of 9 hours and 52 minutes, following the Mate 20 and the iPhone XR. So even better battery is quite something to expect.

In addition, this new update is projected to improve image processing, meaning we will have even better photos. But these improvements are just under the hood, so you probably won’t see new features added to the camera UI.
Last but not least, an official announcement from OnePlus revealed that is has fixed all problems stopping 6T owners from receiving notifications from Google Play Store. Plus, OnePlus has also added general bug fixes and improvements, yet these changes are included in every OnePlus’ update.
At present, OnePlus is rolling out these updates in waves, which mean some of us will receive the updates today and others may get updated in the next few days. So maybe you will have to wait for some more time.
