Within a few minutes after being launched, the OnePlus 6T has already had to face durability test by JerryRigEverything. Zack did not stop there, at the event in New York, he showed up and tore down the phone under a live audience witness.

Let’s get back to the test. On the front, the phone features Gorilla Glass 6, meaning the phone gets only small scratches at level 6 and deeper scratches at level 7 accroding to Moh’s scale.
What should be concerned here is that the in-screen fingerprint scanner requires a clear view through the glass. The great news is the fingerprint reader appears to work normally even when the glass is scartched badly.
The following video will show you the whole test including comments from the uploader.
How about the back? The back of Midnight Glass version is frosted, and traces caused by softer metals can be wipe off, scratches caused by harder metal will remain for good. Either way, be careful.
