LG G7 One Launched In South Korea As LG Q9 One: Price & Specifications

LG just launched the LG G7 One under the name of LG Q9 One which will be a part of Google's Android One program and run the stock version of Android 9 Pie.

Last month, the South Korean phone maker LG just released a rebranded model of its LG G7 Fit under the name of LG Q9 in its home country, South Korea. The LG G7 Fit has already been launched the phone in the global market. Now, LG introduced another version with Android One of the LG Q9. The phone, with the name LG Q9 One, will be a part of the Android One programme and it will obviously run Android 9.0 Pie at launch while the LG Q9 still runs the Android 8.1 Oreo.

LG Q9 One: Color variants & Price
LG Q9 One, the latest LG phone that is a part of Google’s Android One programme, is priced at 599,500 KRW (around Rs. 37,800) in the South Korean market. It will only come in a single colour variant, Moroccan Blue. It will be up for sale from 15 February, and LG will sell it exclusively via LG U+.

LG Q9 One: Specifications & Features
The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 4B RAM/64GB storage that can be expanded up to 2TB storage via a microSD slot. In contrast, the LG Q9 is only powered by an older Snapdragon 821 chipset. The upcoming LG Q9 One will sport a 6.1-inch QHD+ display with a 3,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
The phone is certified for water and dust resistant IP68, and it is tipped to be military-grade certified as well. The phone will pack a 3,000 mah battery and have support for QC 3.0. In the imaging department, the phone will sport a single 16MP on the rear with an aperture of f/1.6, LED flash, PDAF, laser AF, OIS, and HDR10. On the front, users can take selfies with a single 8MP with an aperture of f/1.9 and a wide-angle lens.
In addition, the LG Q9 One also packs the Quad DAC that was seen in the last year’s G7 ThinQ. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, an audio jack, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM slots, USB-C port.
