Lenovo announced to launch its Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition on 22 May. In addition, the company’s official website has just posted a pre-order page for this device. This page showed some typical specs of the upcoming phone, which is considered as a less-powerful version of the Z6 Pro unveiled later. The initial information about specs appears after the device’s design was leaked via various renders last week. Let’s take a look at the photo below.

One of the highlights of the device is that it will sport an HDR10 support display. Additionally, its back panel will come with a nanoscale coating with 8 layers. The handset is said to be available in two color variants including Green-Purple, and Black. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone has a triple camera setup, and a fingerprint sensor on the back. And according to the pre-order page, the handset will also have USB Type-C and a 4,050 mAh cell. In addition, the phone is tipped to have a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. The volume and power buttons will be put on the right edge. Besides, the handset’s SIM tray and a dual hybrid SIM slot will be on the left.

Rumor has it that the upcoming Z6 Youth Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 750 chipset, the latest chip from Qualcomm that is still unused in any smartphone. Previously, the Samsung Galaxy A80 features this chipset, but it has not been unveiled in the market. Therefore, Lenovo will become the first provider to launch a smartphone with this chipset.
For further information, a few days ago, Chang Cheng, Lenovo executive shared a screenshot which shows more information about the GPS feature of the phone. According to the screenshot, the upcoming device is able to search for 38 satellites and use 24 stars to place.
