Lenovo Z6 Teased With 4,000 mAh Battery & Quick Charge 3.0

The upcoming addition to the Lenovo Z series, Lenovo Z6 is teased to come with 4,000mAh battery, Quick charge 3.0, and a 18W charger include in the box.

Lenovo launched the Lenovo Z6 Pro in April this year and it brought the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition a month later. The China-based company is expected to add the standard Lenovo Z6 to its mobile portfolio soon. Lenovo’s Vice President Chang Chang recently said that the handset will run on a Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor. Now, we have just learned that the handset will be fueled by a beefy 4,000mAh battery.

The 4,000mAh battery of the Lenovo Z6 will come with support for 15W fast charging solution (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0), and the phone will be packed with an 18W charger. Lenovo did the same with the Lenovo Z6 Pro, which is shipped with a 27W charger, but it only supports 18W charging standard. We are not sure what is the reason why Lenovo goes for that decision.

Anyway, the brand claims that the upcoming Z6 can deliver 395 hours standby time, 26 hours of video playback, 16 hours of gaming, and 38 hours of talk time. It also said that you only need to charge the phone for 15 minutes to enjoy 2 hours of game time. In addition, turning on power saver will reduce battery consumption during the night to be less than 3 percent.

The company also revealed that the handset will sport AI-powered triple rear cameras made by Sony. The Chinese line for the screen information mentioned on the photo is roughly translated as “color laser display”. Because both the Z6 Youth Edition and Z6 Pro sport a dewdrop notched display, the standard Z6 might also feature similar type of display design possibly with 6.3 inches in size. The handset is said to arrive in at least 2 color variants - Blue and Brown.

That is all we have known about the phone. We expect that there should be more details coming out the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned.
