Some claimed CAD renders of 2019’s iPhone again have a square camera bump that we heard about earlier this year. We can see three models, believed to be iPhone XI, XI Max, and XIR.
CAD Renders Of 2019 iPhones
From the camera bump poke three snappers, forming a triangular. Two of them are at the locations of those of the iPhone XR, while the flash comes in to resemble the look of the XI/Max.
These CAD renders do not exactly reveal anything new except for what most of us have already known from previous leaks. However, they do provide confirmation.
What We’re Expecting From This Year’s Phones
From what we know so far, this year’s iPhone will not look too different from the models on the market at the moment. So in short, we will see a square camera bump and a triple snapper arrangement. The back of the phone might be made from one single piece of glass that also covers the camera bump.
The mute switch might have the up/down mechanism instead of the left/right.
In April, Ming-Chi Kuo said that the third camera might be a super-wide 12MP lens, coupled with the 2x telephoto lens and the standard one, the whole setup will be much more flexible, especially with indoor pictures and landscape shots. Kuo also suggested that all of the cameras would be in black to make them look more discreet.
These leaks are about the appearance and the camera arrangement; other rumors include a Dual Bluetooth Audio and bilateral wireless charging, which can enable the phone to play audio to two sets of wireless headphones simultaneously and let it charge an AirPods case or an Apple Watch.
There have been lots of discussions about the look of the new iPhone XI with a square camera bump. The latest claimed CAD renders will definitely fuel the debate for some time.
