Most people will pay attention to the improved camera setup on the iPhone 11 and forget that the battery life is also been prolonged. To have a clearer idea of what you can expect from the latest iPhones, let’s watch the video from YouTuber PhoneBuff. He measured the battery life of an iPhone 11 Pro Max and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10+, and the result is pleasing.
On paper, the battery of the Galaxy Note 10+ has a bigger capacity than that of iPhone 11 Pro Max. The display is also bigger with higher resolution, explaining the capable power cell. While the former features a screen of 6.8 inches with a resolution of 3040 x 1440, that of the latter measures only 6.5 inches and a 2688 x 1242 resolution.
The two phones also have a disparity of 331mAh in battery capacity, with Galaxy Note 10+ sports 4,300mAh, compared to 3,969mAh of Apple’s latest flagship.
Since Apple has the benefit of the optimization between its hardware and software, it comes as no surprise that even with a less capable battery, iPhone 11 Pro Max could beat the opponent from Samsung buy two hours when it comes to screen-on time.
While this is not the first time anyone tried to compare how long the battery of the latest iPhone can last to its competitors on the market, this time, PhoneBuff comes up with a different series of tests. However, even in this situation, the iPhone still managed to last two-hour longer than that of the Galaxy Note 10+, just like in previous tests.
Overall, iPhone 11 Pro Max can last for 16 hours in standby mode and around 11 hours with screen-on. Here is the video of the test:
