Right after the launch event of the iPhone 12, Apple decided to officially discontinue iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Consumers can no longer purchase these iPhones on Apple’s online store as well as Apple Stores around the world.
Of course, the two iPhones will continue to receive iOS updates within 4 to 6 years.

For now, Apple still distributes the 6.1-inch iPhone 11. Its price is now $100 cheaper than when it was first launched a year ago. Currently, the iPhone models that are still sold include:
- iPhone SE - $399
- iPhone XR - $499
- iPhone 11 - $599
- iPhone 12 mini - $699
- iPhone 12 - $799
- iPhone 12 Pro - $999
- iPhone 12 Pro Max - $1,099

The list above ranges from mid-range to high-end phones. We can clearly see Apple’s intention to venture into the segment for mid-range smartphones. This strategy will help Apple gain a higher market share in developing markets where Android products are dominating.

The prices of the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 will start from $699 for the 64GB version (can be upgraded to 128GB and 256GB). Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will start from $999 for the 128GB version (can be upgraded to 256GB and 512GB).

Consumers can start pre-order iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro on October 16. Meanwhile, iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for preorder on November 6.
