iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have been significantly upgraded by Apple in terms of battery life. According to data provided by Apple, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max last 4 longer than the XS and 5 hours longer than the XS Max.
However, what people really care about is the battery life of the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max in comparison to the top Android devices.
Recently, Youtuber Mrwhosetheboss has compared the actual battery life of the new iPhone series including iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max with two high-end Android devices with large batteries, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (4,300mAh) and Huawei Mate 30 Pro (4,500mAh). The devices simultaneously ran a number of apps such as Instagram, Youtube, AnTuTu Benchmark, Camera and some games until their batteries ran out.
The result made many people surprised. The device offering the best battery life in Mrwhosetheboss's test was the iPhone 11 Pro Max when lasting 8 hours 32 minutes. Ranked second is Huawei Mate 30 Pro with a time of 8 hours 13 minutes. Third place went to the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro with 6 hours 42 minutes. The Galaxy Note 10+ held fourth place with 6 hours 31 minutes. And finally, the iPhone 11 was far behind when it only lasted 5 hours 2 minutes.
This year, Apple said the Super Retina XDR display and A13 Bionic chipset both have improvements to save energy. The highlight in the hardware of iPhone 11 Pro Max is its 3,969 mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the 3,174 mAh of the iPhone Xs Max.
However, the iPhone 11 Pro Max's victory not only comes from the hardware but also is partly supported by the software. Apple's iOS has long been rated as an operating system with better optimization capabilities and more efficient battery usage. The fact that the iPhone 11 Pro Max with a lower battery capacity than the two Android rivals still offers longer usage is the most obvious evidence for this.
