We've seen some iPhone 11 Pro durability tests by dropping it, and it seems that the phone's rear glass is still fragile. And recently, JerryRigEverthing has posted a familiar endurance test video with the latest Apple's iPhone.
During the test, JerryRigEverthing found that the stainless steel edges of the iPhone 11 Pro were still much stronger than aluminum like on the iPhone 11. However, the interesting thing is the rear glass.

iPhone 11 Pro is equipped with a frosted glass back. The test of JerryRigEverthing uses a razor that’s 5.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness. As a result, the frosted glass of the phone was not scratched.
Basically, the frosted glass back of the iPhone 11 Pro is specially made with a rough surface on a microscopic level. That means this surface can sharpen other softer materials. And when the glass back is scratched, leaving marks, it is from other materials, not the glass.
Therefore, these traces can be easily wiped away without leaving any scratches. In the test, JerryRigEverthing used coins, screws, and keys to scratch the back of the iPhone 11 Pro, but it seems that the back was not damaged at all. JerryRigEverthing is also very impressed for its durability, which is equivalent to a hardness of 6 on the Mohs scale.
In addition, the rear camera module is covered with a layer of scratch-resistant glass. However, it is not as impressive as the frosted glass back and is easy to broken when dropped from a great height. The iPhone 11 Pro also cannot be bent and the screen can withstand burning for more than 60 seconds without any damage.
The iPhone 11 Pro is available in the Indian market with the starting price of Rs. 99,900 for the standard variant with 64GB storage. Meanwhile, the higher 256GB and 512GB variants will be respectively priced at Rs. 1,13,900 and Rs. 1,31,900.
