Huawei Y9 (2019) will sport a dual-camera setup, a notched-display and a beefy battery of 4,000mAh.

After postponing the launch of its new smartphone from January 7th to the 17th in the same month, Huawei officially launched the Y9 (2019) at a press event in New Delhi. Shortly afterward, Amazon India also confirmed that the product will be distributed exclusively on the company's India website, Amazon.in.

The new phone's key highlight features include a vertically-aligned dual camera setup, a screen of 6.5-inch, a beefy 4,000 mAh battery capacity and HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC.

Huawei Y9 (2019): Specifications

The Y9 (2019) features 6.5-inch Full HD plus Full View display with the resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In terms of design, the phone features a traditional display notch and a 3D curved design on the back. Additionally, the new phone ships with the EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Also, the phone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor with AI Power 7.0.

In terms of cameras, the Y9 (2019) has AI-powered camera sensors, dual rear cameras, and dual front cameras. On the rear, you get a 13MP main camera and 2MP secondary camera. You will get a 16MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor on the front.

Coming to the connectivity, the Y9 (2019) includes Micro-USB, 4G LTE, GPS, AGPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Additionally, sensors on board the new Huawei incorporate an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and digital compass. Also, the phone features a Fingerprint 4.0 identification technology and comes with a beefy battery of 4,000mAh.

Huawei Y9 (2019) is available in two RAM/internal storage configurations, including 3GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage. Moreover, you will also have the option to expand further using a microSD card (up to 256GB).
