Huawei has silently released a new smartphone dubbed Huawei Y7p. The device’s key highlights include a punch-hole display, a 48MP triple rear camera setup and a 4,000mAh battery.

Huawei Y7p: Price & Availability
The Huawei Y7p price isn’t revealed on its official listing along with its availability. It is available in two color variants - Midnight Black and Aurora Blue.

The phone is also speculated to arrive in several markets under the name ‘Huawei P40 Lite E’.
Huawei Y7p: Specifications & Features
The device sports a 6.39-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel that has a punch-hole on the top left corner to house an 8MP selfie camera. The display accounts for 90.15 percent of the front panel thanks to the small punch-hole. It measures 159.81x76.13x8.13 mm and weighs 176g. Powering the phone is a Kirin 710F chipset at its core, aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand its storage using a shared microSD card slot (it means you have to sacrifice a SIM slot for the microSD card). In terms of software, it boots Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, with EMUI 9.1 on top. It is fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery that doesn’t support fast charging standard.

On the imaging front, it is listed with a triple camera lens setup at the back, including a 48MP main shooter with an f/2.4 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth-sensing snapper with an f/2.4 lens. They are paired with an LED flash, AI scene optimization, and handheld night mode. As mentioned, it gets an 8MP single camera on the front with an f/2.0 lens for selfies. On the rear panel, there is a fingerprint reader for biometric security. Other notable features include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, headphone jack, and a micro-USB port.
