Huawei Y7 (2019) is another new smartphone that Huawei just silently launched in Europe. The new handset is pretty much the same to the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) that launched in December last year. The major difference between the two is the camera setup. While the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) comes with a 16MP front camera, the newer Y7 (2019) only has an 8MP selfie camera.

Huawei Y7 (2019): Price
The handset will set you back by €220 (around Rs. 17,150), and it will come in three color options, including Midnight Black, Aurora Blue, and Coral Red. However, it is, for now, only up for sale in Europe. Huawei remains silent about launching the phone in other markets.
Huawei Y7 (2019): Specifications & Features
The phone ships with EMUI 8.2 which is based on the dated Android 8.1 Oreo. It features a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a 1,520 x 720p resolution, a water-drop notch on top and an aspect of 19:9. Under the hood, it packs a Snapdragon 450 chipset, coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD slot.

Moving to the camera department, the Y7 (2019) sports a dual camera system, including a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. The setup will be paired with a single LED Flash. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera for taking selfies and video calling.
Huawei goes for a large 4,000 mAh cell on the Y7 (2019) which is pretty decent for an affordable phone. Its connectivity options comprise of Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G VoLTE. The phone’s dimensions is 158.92 x 76.91 x 8.1mm and it has a weight of 168g.
For security, the Y7 (2019) features a fingerprint scanner on the rear which is a feature that wasn’t added on the Y7 Pro. Along with the fingerprint scanner, users also have the option to choose the facial recognition feature. The company included a headphone jack on its top side while the volume button is placed on the right side. There are also speaker grills and a micro-USB port located on the bottom of the device.
