Huawei Y6 2019 To Launch With Helio A22 SoC, 6.09-Inch Display With Dewdrop Notch

Huawei is about to launch a new model of the Huawei Y6 and it is Huawei Y6 2019 with Helio A22 SoC, 6.09-inch display, and a new design as well.

Chinese phone maker Huawei released its Huawei Y6 phone last year. And now, shortly after the MWC 2019 ended with Huawei introducing the foldable Huawei Mate X, it is about to launch a 2019 model of the handset. Recently, Huawei already released a Pro model of its Huawei Y6 which falls in the entry-level phone segment. There are not a lot of differences between the Huawei Y6 2019 and Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 in the hardware department, except for the RAM configurations, the fingerprint sensor, and the design.
Huawei launched the Huawei Y6 2019 with 3GB of RAM, and it comes without a fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by an MTK Helio A22 chipset. On the front, it sports a 6.09-inch Full-View display with HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. On the top of the display, there is a water-drop housing a selfie camera. In terms of software, it runs Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9 at launch. It will come in a single option with 3GB of RAM/32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD slot up to 512GB.
In the imaging department, it comes with a single 13MP camera on the rear with an aperture of f/1.8. On the front, there will be an 8MP selfie camera for taking selfies, video calling, and Facial Recognition feature also. It is backed by the Selfie toning flash 2.0 feature, which will enable the phone to brighten users’ selfies. Lastly, it will be backed by a 3,020 mAh cell.
Huawei will offer the phone in a total of three colour variants, including Midnight Black, Amber Brown, and Sapphire Blue. In addition, the Amber Brown colour variant will have a faux leather finish on its rear, which is a quite unique design from Huawei. The Chinese phone maker has yet to reveal the pricing and also the availability of this handset.
