The Huawei Lite series is among the popular phone series in the mid-range segment thanks to its affordable price and good cameras. It appears that the Chinese company is planning to add a new member to the family called Huawei P20 Lite 2019.
According to a new leak by WinFuture, the phone will come with a Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM + 64/128GB of internal storage. In addition, the device is said to come with a 5.84-inch FHD+ LCD panel while the new renders reveal a punch hole on the top left corner of the display.
At the back, it seems like the phone will come with four cameras on the rear. According to the WinFuture report, the primary camera on the setup will be a 24MP snapper with f/1.8 lens, and it is in line with the main camera of the Huawei P30 Lite. We believe that the setup will also include two cameras with a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens as well.
As for the fourth camera, we believe it will be either a 3D ToF camera or a depth sensor. However, it is highly likely to be the latter since the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 is a mid-range offering while the 3D ToF camera is more often used on flagship-tier devices.
The report says that Huawei will set the price of the phone to be between 280 to 330EUR (around Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 26,000). It will likely come in three color variants which are Black, Red, and Blue. That is all we know about the phone. The details about its selfie camera and battery remain unknown at the moment.
We also don’t really understand why Huawei goes for the name Huawei P20 Lite 2019 when we have already got the Huawei P30 Lite that launched earlier in the year. However, Huawei already did this with the Huawei P8 Lite 2017. The handset was launched about 2 years after it announced the Huawei P8 Lite.
