The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) finally goes official in Europe with quad rear cameras, an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC, and a 4,000 mAh battery.

The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) finally goes official in Europe. The phone is launched as a successor to the Huawei P20 Lite that launched last year along with the Huawei P20 series. It is packed with a 6.4-inch FHD+ IPS LCD bezel-less panel with a punch hole for the selfie camera. In addition, it is powered by Huawei's Kirin 710 octa-core processor and ships with the company’s EMUI 9 which is based on Android 9 Pie. Not just that, the mid-range offering is among the very few smartphones to come with a quad rear camera setup on the rear.

The handset’s price is set at €269 (roughly Rs. 21,100) and is already available for purchase via Media Markt in Switzerland. There are three color variants for you to choose, including Charming Red, Midnight Black, and Crush Blue. The company hasn’t revealed its availability in other markets.

The handset sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ panel with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080p. It is driven by a Kirin 710 octa-core processor clocked @ 2.2 GHz and an ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The processor is accompanied by 4GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot up to 512GB. In terms of software, it ships with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9 Pie to take care of the software side of things.

In the camera department, it comes with a quad camera setup on the rear, including a 16MP main camera with an f/1.8, aperture, a secondary 8MP shooter, a 2MP third camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, it has a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calling. It is stuffed with a 4,000 mAh battery to keep the phone running. For security, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back.
