The handset comes with a 6.4-inch hole-punch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution. It is driven by a Kirin 710 octa-core processor, accompanied by 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Software-wise, the device runs on Android 9 Pie with the company’s EMUI 9.1 on top. Keeping the phone running is a beefy 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging solution.
On the camera front, the Huawei Nova 5i also has a quad camera setup just like its siblings. However, its setup comprises of a 24MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture in the front punch hole. For security, it features a fingerprint scanner that is mounted at its back instead of embedded under the screen like other two Honor Nova 5 smartphones.
