Huawei Nova 5i Visits TENAA With Key Specs Revealed

After AnTuTu and Geekbench, the Huawei Nova 5i just made its appearance on China's TENAA with Kirin 710 SoC and 6/8GB of RAM.

It seems like the upcoming Huawei Nova 5i will be a solid offering in the mid-range segment with a hole punch display, quad rear camera setup, large battery. The phone has already visited two popular benchmarking platforms AnTuTu and Geekbench in two variants with 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM. Now, the smartphone was just spotted on China’s TENAA and the listing reveals some major specifications of the phone as well as confirmed details that were already leaked before.
As per the listing, the Huawei Nova 5i is listed to come with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a punch hole on the top for housing a selfie camera. Powering the phone is the Kirin 710 octa-core processor, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can’t be expanded.
In terms of camera, it is among the very few smartphones that have a quad camera setup. It includes a 24MP primary camera, a secondary 8MP camera, 2MP depth sensor, and a ToF camera. There are also a fingerprint scanner and an LED flash at the back.
Fueling the phone will be a large 3,900 mAh battery and with the efficient Kirin 710 SoC, the phone should deliver an impressive battery life. As expected for a Huawei smartphone, the Nova 5i will ship with the company’s EMUI 9 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The forthcoming mid-range offering will come in three color variants, including Red, Black, and Red.
Alongside the Huawei Nova 5i will be the Huawei Nova 5 which is likely a flagship offering. It will come with the most powerful Huawei chipset, the Kirin 980 SoC. There will be also a quad camera setup at the back and a 25MP selfie camera on the front. It is fueled by a large 4,200 mAh battery compared to that of the Nova 5i. The duo is expected to make their debuts at the end of this month.
