It seems like the U.S ban and the lack of Google Mobile Services don't really affect the Huawei Mate 30 series as it has just been reported to reach 12 million units sold.

Last month, Huawei announced that it had sold more than 7 million Huawei Mate 30 smartphones in a short period of 60 days after the official launch. Now, a new report from the Chinese news agency Sina claimed that the series now reaches 12 million units sold.
This sales figure is even more impressive when you take into account the fact that the Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro don’t come with Google Mobile Services and their presence in international markets is quite limited.
The company has previously set a target of 20 million smartphones for the Mate 30 series despite the initial difficulties. After all, this goal seems to be attainable judging by its current sale volumes.
The Mate 30 and 30 Pro are the first smartphones to be affected by the U.S. trade ban, so they don't come with Google apps and services (Google Mobile Services). , but rely solely on Huawei's proprietary Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). Recently, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G was rated to be the best camera smartphone in the world by DxOMark.
