Huawei’s sub-brand Honor could be releasing a new smartphone in the near future, most likely after the Chinese New Year holidays. A new Honor smartphone with model number Honor MOA-AL00 was spotted on China’s TENAA. For now, the TENAA listing doesn’t give many details about the phone except for its screen size, battery capacity, and dimensions. However, we can get the full design of the phone thanks to several photos included with the listing. In addition, the phone will not support 5G connectivity, so we speculate that it could be powered by a Kirin 810 chipset.
Honor MOA-AL00: Specifications & Design
The handset was certified on 25 December last year. On the rendered photos, we can see that the Honor MOA-AL00 will carry a standard display with the popular water-drop notch at the top for a selfie camera. We can really tell how thick its bezels are, but we can see a volume rocker and a power button placed at the right edge of the phone. On the left side, there will be a SIM tray.
Around the back, the phone has a Blue rear panel, but it should arrive with at least one more color variant. It is quite hard to see but the phone seems to sport at least two sensors and all of them will be housed in a rectangular module. There is no presence of the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone, and that could suggest that it will come with an under-display fingerprint sensor. That could also tell that the handset will flaunt an AMOLED panel since no brand has managed to integrate an in-display fingerprint sensor on an LCD panel.
Moving to its specifications, the TENAA listing reveals that it will boast a 6.39-inch display while its battery capacity will be 4,900 mAh. The device will measure 159.07x74.06x9.04 mm. As mentioned, the phone will not support 5G connectivity, so it could be driven by a Kirin 810 chipset.
For now, we don’t know the exact identity of the Honor MOA-AL00 and its exact launch date. However, there should be more details surfacing online in the forthcoming weeks.
