Over the weekend, Google confirmed that it’s discontinuing the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL series. The tech giant said that the phone's inventory has sold out, completing the sale of the Pixel 3a. Now, this smartphone is listed “out of stock” on the firm’s official website.
Google launched the Pixel 3a in 2019 and some partners still have this phone available in for supply if you want to buy a new one, according to a spokesperson.
Currently, the Google Pixel 4 is still on sale at a price starting from Rs 78,999.
Announced in May 2019, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL were the affordable versions of the Pixel 3 series. The 3a comes with a 5.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080x2220 pixels. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 670 chipset and runs Android Pie 9 out of the box.
The phone features 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In terms of cameras, there is a 12MP lens on the back and an 8MP lens on the front. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint for biometric unlock. Last but not least, it packs a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
With the Pixel 3 as one of the best smartphone ever made by Google and the best for the money on the global smartphone market, the Pixel 3a came out as a great solution for those who couldn’t afford the original version. This was especially good news when the tech giant discontinued the Pixel 3 series.
