Galaxy A90 5G Listed On Geekbench With Snapdragon 855 SoC & More

The Galaxy A90 5G was spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 SoC and several more key features.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 is expected to be the latest smartphone in the Galaxy A series, which is tipped to be driven by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 SoC. It will most likely be the flagship-tier smartphone and come with some technologies developed by the brand. There have been a few leaks about the upcoming Galaxy A90. A recent leak suggests that device will be powered by a beefy battery that is said to be larger than that of the Galaxy A80. Aside from that, the company is rumored to launch a 5G variant of the phone in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy A90 Battery

According to a report last month, the South Korean phone maker might be bringing two models of the Galaxy A90, one of which supports 4G network and the other supports 5G network. Both of them will be driven by the powerful Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor. The handset was also recently spotted with the model number of SM-A908. Its battery is tipped to carry a capacity of 4,500 mAh, which is higher than the one on the Samsung Galaxy A80 (3,700mAh). The Galaxy S10 5G variant will also likely to carry the same capacity.

The device with SM-A908 model number was accompanied with a different variant carrying model number SM-A908B. Samsung has been known for using the B letter to identify the international variants of its smartphones. Therefore, the Samsung SM-A908B might be the European model of the upcoming Galaxy A90 5G. It should go on sale in countries like the UK, France, Scandinavia, Italy, and Germany.

The handset also made its appearance in benchmarking site Geekbench, but the listing didn’t give us anything new. The device is listed on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and boots Android 9 Pie. This is said to be the Galaxy A90 5G, which is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel, on-screen fingerprint reader, and triple rear cameras. We can’t confirm which selfie camera design Samsung will go for on this phone, but we highly doubt the possibility of the swivel/sliding pop-up selfie camera.
