After leaks and rumors, Samsung finally announced its Galaxy A90 5G. It is the first phone in the Galaxy A series to support 5G connectivity and Samsung DeX, which enables users to expand their smartphone’s display to TV or PC. It flaunts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with FHD+ resolution and a Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with up to 8GB RAM. It also has Microsoft Your Phone app that is said to allow you to mirror your phone’s screen onto a display to recevei and send messages, check notifications, brow photos, etc.

Samsung Galaxy A90 5G: Price

The handset is currently available in Korea only for 899,900 WON (about Rs. 53,500). It is available in White and Black color variants and will go on sale in the country from 4 September. Its international launch is expected to come soon.

The Galaxy A90 5G sports a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U panel with FHD+ resolution. Ticking at its core is a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, paired with an Adreno 640 GPU. The handset is available in two memory configurations -- 6GB of RAM / 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM / 128GB of storage. Software-wise, it ships with Samsung’s OneUI out of the box, that is based on Android 9 Pie.

In terms of camera, it boasts a triple camera cluster, including a 48MP main sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 123° field of view, and a 5MP depth-sensing camera. Up front, there is a 32MP shooter for taking selfies and video calling. Handling security front is an on-screen fingerprint reader. Other notable features include 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB-C port, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging solution.
