Black Shark 2 Pro gaming phone was unveiled in the Chinese market on July 31, which is the company’s first device to be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. Black Shark showed off the phone’s AnTuTu score of 500,610 points at the launch event, which is the world’s highest score for a phone.

However, the real-life AnTuTu benchmark score of Black Shark 2 Pro is lower than 500,000. A user of the phone posted the screenshots of the benchmark on Weibo. Accordingly, the phone, in fact, only gained 456,571 points in AnTuTu benchmark score, which is greatly lower than what Black Shark showed off at its release event.
It is worth noting that the Black Shark 2 Pro’s actual AnTuTu score is still higher than the score of 405,598 points that appeared on the benchmark platform ahead of the phone’s launch date. Xiaomi could have optimized the phone’s CPU after the device’s first AnTuTu benchmark score was announced. On the other hand, the new real-life AnTuTu score of the handset shows that the device gained 140,041 points on the CPU test and 190,193 points in the GPU test.
Black Shark 2 Pro: Specifications
