India has been a highly contested ‘battleground’ for phone makers in recent years. In the middle of all this, the mid-range smartphones are the ones that are being sold like hot cakes.
You no longer have to compromise or reach out to the most expensive smartphones to get quality features like triple-lens camera suite, or under-display fingerprint scanner. If you know how to pick, you can get a very good one for less than Rs 20,000.
Here’s a list of the smartphones under Rs 20,000 we have compiled of what we think are the best options available at the moment.
Huawei P30 Lite
Huawei launched the P30 Pro and P30 Lite in India just about a month ago. Though the price tag is hard to accept for the P30 Pro at Rs 60,000, you can get the Lite model for Rs 20,000 on Amazon India. If you think that the massive difference in price will give you a bad smartphone in return for picking the cheaper option, you’re wrong. With Rs 20,000, you will get the incredibly powerful Kirin 710 SoC, 4Gb of RAM, and 128GB of storage on the base model.
This device includes a triple-lens camera suite, a 24-megapixel main sensor, a secondary sensor capable of snapping 8-megapixel photos, and lastly, a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Additionally, it has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies coupled with AI photography support.

Though the brief specs look a little bit lackluster, don’t forget that it’s packed with a 6.21-inch display along with the powerful HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, 6Gb of RAM and 64Gb of internal storage.
