Apple Lied About The iPhone X Screen Size, Facing Lawsuit

A lawsuit has been filed to the US Court against Apple, saying the iPhone X screen size is smaller than advertised.
On Friday, there was a lawsuit filed against Apple, the world’s high-profile tech firm, the maker of iPhones. In particular, the filing accuses Apple of lying about the screen size of the iPhone X.
Two people submitted their complaint to the US District Court of Northern California, claiming that Apple gave misleading advertisement about the sizes of the displays and the number of pixels on the screens of the iPhone X and XS, and XS Max. They are now looking for other lawsuits with the same problem.

The iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max
There haven’t been any comments from Apple about this incident.
The complaint is detailed in a total of 55 pages, which says Apple misled consumers by including non-screen areas like the corners and the notch when advertising about the screen sizes. So it seems that the phones are not “all screen” as in advertisements.
Take the iPhone X for example, Apples says its screen is 5.8 inches large, but the two plaintiffs measured the display and saw only 5.6875 inches.
Plus, the lawsuit alleges Apple of lying about the pixel counts on the iPhone X series. The two plaintiffs said the iPhone X was marketed to feature a resolution of 2436x1125 pixels, but the phone turns out to have a lower resolution. Accordingly, in a true pixel, there are red, green, and blue subpixels, but the complaint says the iPhone X has two subpixels only. Therefore, the phone seems not to have true pixels.

The plaintiffs also claim the screen quality of the iPhone X is even lower than that of the iPhone 8 Plus.
As shocking as it may sound, this is not the first time a lawsuit like this one has been filed against the iPhone maker about its products.

Back in March, there were 59 separate lawsuits from many customers, accusing Apple of tweaking its software to kill the older iPhone model. They also looked for lawsuits with the same allegation.
In June, Apple had to deal with a lawsuit involving its Apple Watch. The lawsuit, which sought a 5$ million compensation, blamed the company for faulty Watch’s screens. They said the screens cracked and shattered easily, as well as had the tendency to detach from the watch’s body.
Like Apple, the plaintiffs haven’t commented anything about the incident.
