People are expecting Apple to launch two new models for iPad Pro in this month, which are 11 inches and 12.9 inches. The models have their official release next week at a special media event. Over the past few weeks, we have got several leaks on the spec of Apple’s new tablets, the biggest of which is the home button removed and replaced by Face ID.
As the fall event of Apple coming closer, more and more details of the iPad Pro have been revealed in the last few days. The most recent leak is from CoinCoin, a Twitter user, that the up-coming release will not have a 3.5mm jack for headphones. In addition, this user mentioned its thickness will be 5.9mm at most.
Especially, a leaked piece of information indicated that the actual thickness of the new iPad Pro is 5.86mm, probably exclude the camera. Anyway, the device absolutely has an impressive thinness. In the specific comparison, while the currently used iPad model is 7.5mm thick, the new models 10.5 inch and 12.9 inch are 6.1mm and 6.9mm respectively.
The only questions remained is whether 5.9mm the thickness of both models or of a smaller one.
Besides the overall thinness, the bezels is expected to be thin too as you can see in the following photos.
It cannot be denied that the last few years have witnessed more falls in iPad sales than rises. With the up-coming iPad models, hopefully Apple will see a constant sales growth as the festive season is coming too.
